I had to let you know that for the first time in 2 years I saw a look on my 6 years face I have missed so much. In the summer of 2008 while on a family vaction in Midland Michigan our then 4 year old lost 85% of her hair, not knowing what was going on we ended our trip early and went home to Utah and got her in to the Doctor. We were told that she had alopecia universialus (sp). She will not wear anything on her head no matter how hard we try. Today she told me that she wants to try and do something big in life. Thank you so much for show my daughter that she can be anything she wants ecven with out hair.

I wanted to Thank you for what you are doing. Today I was able to read Bald and Beautiful to my 6 year old who 2 years ago lost 85% of her hair on a family trip to Michigan. We ended our trip early and headed home to Utah and got into the Doctor were we learned she has alopecia universialis (sp) Today I saw a look on her sweet little face that I have not seen in 2 years. She was able to see someone just like her do something big with her life. She like you will not wear any thing on her head, but today said if she can look as pretty as you she would wear a wig. I want to Thank you again for bringing that sweet missed look back on my daughters face.

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that you are an inspiration to our family. My eight year old competes in natural beauty pageants and has alopecia. She has debated whether or not to get a hair piece in order to compete. Now she sees she can do it with or without one. True beauty comes within. She would love to hear from you personally, as she thinks you are true "royalty" :) You can email us at delgado2134@netzero.com . We would love to know more about where you got your hair piece from too. It looks so natural :) Good luck in January, we are hoping to attend. Even if we don't, we will be rooting for you from our home! Have a blast and keep in being an inspiration to all little girls!
